Fragile fragments embroidered in the space between cultural borders, whilst reflecting on the embedded heritage of 19th century Ayrshire and Indian whitework embroidery.






Reflecting on the cultural points of contact in whitework embroidery and indigo cloth heritage cloth is explored to connect to cultural heritage found in the fragmented spaces between cultures influenced by economic migration, colonisation and decolonisation.
